two friends learn about life and the limits of friendship

i will note that the person who wrote the official summary, calling this film "light," was being rude or does not understand what "light" and "comedy" mean. this is a drama. it is about two friends in Mexico city. the protagonist is called Nemesio ("Nesio (stubborn) for short"). his friend, played by Tenoch Huerta, is a drug dealer. the plot is not well constructed or very engaging. the best parts are with Tenoch Huerta and his "boyfriend" and the conversations they have about life. the older boyfriend tries to warn Tenoch's character about life and how people let you down. likewise Nesio's girlfriend, the fighter, tries to teach him life lessons. she is less kind and benevolent than Tenoch's boyfriend, let me just put it like that. but then it turns out Nesio is a terrible friend, just like his mother is a terrible mother and his girlfriend is a terrible girlfriend. ha ha like i said NOT a light comedy. more substantive than most b movies about drug dealers, though not a great film. i watched because i am a huge fan of Tenoch. his story line and the actor who plays his boyfriend are artistically the best part of this movie.
