Best episode because of the return of Ali. She makes the series complete.

Fantastic on every level

The Johnny-Alli reunion is absolutely pitch perfect.

Daniel actually getting to know Miguel is awesome, and absolutely warranted. Daniel's entire view of Miguel was colored by his perceptions of Johnny and was completely off base with Miguel.

And of course, in the background, is Sensei Kreese working his evil magic on Robbie. I'm torn I suppose because I like the happy things when they happen in Johnny's and Daniel's orbits, but of course, we it's a show, so we have to have bad things happen.

My main happy place for season three was I'm very happy to see a lot more focus on the Johnny/Miguel friendship because I thought that was the heart of the first season.

Feel the Nostalgia

Warning: Spoilers
Ali finally shows up! And Elizabeth Shue is just as charming as she was in '84. And as talented as she was in 'The Boys' more recently. I'm not big on her linking up with Johnny, after Johnny finally linked up with Carmen. Both couples are cute together, and it seems more like "dump on Johnny" then giving him a win, finally.

After Ali shows up, the rest of the episode is the penultimate finale set-up for the finale next episode. Miyagi-Do and the Eagle Fangs consider allying, Sam and Miguel are back together, and we see how Robby has fallen under Kreese's sway and away from his biological father, Johnny. Kreese doesn't get much to do, presumably because the production staff is saving the character for the flashback sequence next episode.

Kove is slimy as always, twisting the knife into Tory about Sam and Miguel working together, to drive her more to Kreese's side. No doubt Kreese would justify it as helping her.

Daniel and Miguel bond a little bit, and Mariduena isn't as good with Maccchio as he is with Zabka. Maybe it's the nature of their relationship: Daniel is an anxious father, while Johnny has his own burdens to bear as far as his involvement in Miguel's handicapping. Which has been pretty much forgotten (except for Carmen being grateful). Miguel seems just as hale and hearty as ever.

Jacob Bertrand is still the MVP, and you can see how Kreese favoring Robby is turning Hawk away from Cobra Kai. Which sets up the reverse heel turn in the next episode. Bertrand does a good job of showing Hawk's expressions despite his perpetually-sneering face.

Overall, "Feel the Night" isn't bad. It's pretty much average for the series. The actors are still good, and at least Johnny gets to have an enjoyable time. Rather than Ali outright rejecting him because he was a jerk when they broke up. it would have felt like the production staff dumping on the character, if she had rejected him. But at least he would have had Carmen to soften the blow.

But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong. What do you think?

Yes! The reunion I have been waiting for, and it was all I needed it to be. Decent acting and a great storyline. Got a little lightheartedness back.

best episode

Warning: Spoilers
I watched this episode so many times, and I still couldn't stop watching it. There's some stuff going on in this episode and here's why.

First, Ali's back. That's the good news.

Second, Miguel and Sam are back together again and Miguel had a chance to talk with Daniel for the first time.

Third, Robby joins Cobra Kai because of Daniel and Johnny stressing him out.

And last, Miguel and Sam are working together with Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang to team up together to defeat Cobra Kai.

If you watch it, you'll get the point of what's going to happen in the next episode. 10/10.

Stronger together

In this episode we find Robbie back at Cobra Kai under the lead of his new-old mentor John Kreese. Also we see Lawrence back together with Miguel's mom but meanwhile still flirting and now dating his old school friend.

Also Robbie and his new friends at Cobra Kai invading the zoo (!) to steal ...

...of course a cobra! Crazy stuff.

Furthermore Miguel and Daniel take some time together sitting in old cars at the dojo.

I quite liked that.

In the end Miguel and Sam try to unite the miyagido dojo and the eagle fang dojo to have a bigger chance winning against Cobra Kai.

This episode prepares everything for a great season finale.

Lazy disappointing writing
tdnb0022 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Elizabeth Shue was expected to be much more than she is, which is a vehicle to put Johnny, Carmen and Miguel in a tough spot; creating an unfortunate love triangle with Johnny, Carmen and Ali, with Miguel being collateral damage at the very time he is supposed to bring Johnny and Daniel together. And frankly, there is no chance that a successful doctor would throw herself at a guy who spent three decades (except for the last 2 years) binge drinking and working as a contractor. They really dropped the ball with the setup and execution of this potentially very interesting plotline. Perhaps Elizabeth Shue could not commit more time to this show, but that does not mean the writers should dumb-down her integration to this story.

good episode
nickzapapp4 January 2021
A good episode, but in my opinion, the weakest this season, and if that is getting an 8, it just proves how good this season really is.

I liked Allie coming back, although I found other aspects such as the Okinawa trip more interesting, there were no fights this ep, everything was just about building stuff for the finale.

Kreese is CRAZY. I was pissing my self when he was telling the students they showed leadership when steeling the snake, what a crazy man.

Retro from 84

Warning: Spoilers
Feeling the night has the old flame Ali. Golf date place, older dating, and talking with Danial along with the Johnny love triangle is great! The pasta and white clothing joke is great throw back. The viewer sees the other side of the story. Ali in her own words. Then we got the stupid fake keg party. A throw back to the old Lee 70's martial arts film. Over the top even for me. I did not mind Feel the Night, but I give the episode a feel of turn off the brain for the ending. 7 stars.
