Blindspot Season 4 Finale 4x22 'The Gang Gets Gone'
nickzapapp3 June 2019
MINOR SPOILERS BELOW

This was an interesting one.... I will be honest it took a risky route - which I didn't seem to like. I didn't like how Madeline was boom a FBI advisor or something like that... and I didn't like that there was no threat the team was facing (in a way) what I mean is there were no shootouts or fights.

And that scene of Jane and Weller taking hostages I mean what...

There was nothing touched on about Iceland the only bit I could say that I liked would of been the jumping scene but Blindspot has already done that in 3x09.

Also that ending...? - this episode needed a lot of changes to be made - they should of made it a conclusive ending or in the off chance that the show didn't get renewed have another ep 23 just in case - so that means that 22 would have had to clarify a lot.. Last years finale was better. To be honest Blindspot doesn't do good finales the only good ones that I can remember are season 1 and 2, 3 was average.

Down the rabbit hole and off the TiVo record list
unsolicited-230 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Blindspot has been threatening to start circling the drain all season with the Madeline-as-an-evil-genius storyline, but this episode turned straight down the hole and didn't bother to circle.

Stunningly convoluted story line that made no sense (Hey, she's framed all of us! Let's go off to someplace in Iceland to thwart a power shutdown. Let's open the door of a jetliner inward at altitude. Let's do exactly all those random things she predicted we would do at just the right time).

This was just all lazy writing and ludicrous coincidence driving. Madeline going from being in jail to at a press conference was asinine. The whole aw-shucks-country-lawyer routine is overdone. The episode played like fan fiction, and bad fan fiction at that.

Deleted the season pass on the TiVo as the show ended. My wife reached "I'm done" status about 10 episodes ago. I'm right there with her now.

Suspension of Disbelief

This show calls for a vigorous amount of disbelief, but this last episode went beyond disbelief into never never land.

Show is doing it's own skydive..

But don't forget. They were in a smuggler's house, interconnected with underground tunnels.

The made a point to point out the tunnels, and the radio.. I'm sure Patterson realized some kind of radio interference and they all ducked down into the tunnel. Pretty hokey, but left a return wide open...

A total waste of time

Warning: Spoilers
These last two episodes were just terrible. Season after season the quality has lower. I used to really like the series but this last "cliffhanger" was just a sad attempt to try to create a story with the team doing something else than solving tattoos. No previous history, it's just ridiculous that suddenly everything was about bringing down the FBI. Madeline it's an awful villain, you just hate her smugness but after that there is nothing else (and I like the actress in other series, it's not the actress it's the story) but here there is nothing else. She is just a villain, go and hate her. No real work with her character, no realistic backstory and for that she is just a boring and very annoying enemy.

What in the world?

Warning: Spoilers
This is the most unbelievable and most stupid episode in 4 years. What FBI agent would brandish weapons in a museum (to evade capture)?

The entire four years of episodes puts the FBI director, assistant directors, and agents as totally corrupt.

And how do they allow Jane and Rich Dotcom SCI clearance?

Gripping, Suspenseful, Emotional - catastrophic CLIFFHANGER ending
spasticfreakshow1 June 2019
What could have been the best episode of the season (I even found Jane vaguely less annoying than usual) is literally a GoT S8E6-level disaster, considering that it is most likely the SERIES FINALE, and not just the season finale. The twist is, nothing gets wrapped up and you're pretty sure they've just kept you watching from the mid-season episode, except OH NOES!! It's actually the final final episode and it's the most out there cliffhanger twist ever. Have the directors been micro-dosing LSD for too long and now run off with D&D to destroy an iconic film franchise?
