Warning: Spoilers
There's some amusing moments here with Alf and Steven getting the lion's share of the best lines.Alf's banter with Ailsa about the frozen beef and comments on keeping his keys in the freezer("They're the keys to the cold room, they like being cold")are brilliant but Steven almost tops them with his reaction to Frank and Roo's request for privacy, his "I should have asked for ten" being one of the episode's highlights. Alf and Roo end up keeping their romantic liaisons secret from each other but Roo's storyline is a bit of a head scratcher:She's presumably meant to be dressing up to see Frank but, in a baggy shirt and ankle length skirt, she actually looks like she's dressing down. She does at least start the Home and Away tradition of climbing in through a partner's window.

Meanwhile, Carly finds the guilt over recent events weighs heavily on her and, after confessing all to Steven and Frank, goes to Donald to tell him all.Although bringing up a few incidents from the pilot doesn't help his case, again Donald doesn't seem to be the villain of the piece so much as a man trying to do what's right and it's hard to fault his position:He even commends Carly for her belated honesty. Although they get some nice material, it's beginning to feel like Floss and Neville are only there so there's another set of adults at the caravan park when Tom and Pippa aren't in the episode.
