Marc Bolan's partner Gloria Jones was on this episode but who where the duet who played out the show with Life's A Gas? Gloria's first live UK TV appearance since 1977 was on BBC1's 'The One Show' on 14th September. She shared the sofa with opera singer Leslie Garrat, who praised Marc to the hilt saying how much she loved his voice and how colourful it was. Gloria was obviously touched and to add more sentiment a woman sang a live acoustic cover of Life's A Gas to end the show. Gloria was seen singing along. I think this was Gloria Jones's only UK TV appearance during the week of the 8th-15th September to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Marc Bolan's death. Unfortunately her and Marc Bolan's son, Rolan couldn't get to the UK because of passport problems.
