Tamara Garfield directed and co-wrote this sweet little comedy along with Daniel Garfield. I have no idea what their relationship is to each other, but I sure hope they keep making films! That's because SNOWBIRDS was a wonderful little short.
The film begins with two elderly people bickering a bit with each other. The husband deals with his occasionally annoying wife by turning down his hearing aid and much of the time she talks and talks as he pretends to be listening. It's obvious that their marriage has seen better days. So, to perhaps put a spark back into their lives, they decide to go to a resort 500 miles from home. Their RV ride across the country is pretty funny and the folks sure remind me of my parents. However, the best part is yet to come, as Sun City Resort ends up being something very, very different from what they expected!!!
