I was really excited to see Shiv Rajkumar in this movie and thought the film would pattern other selections such as Rough Book and Hichki. However, the antics of the assistant principal were over the top and became a bit boring after a while. I think there was a need to balance the over-acting so he didn't come across a buffoon. The music could have been more spirited given the number of young people involved, and while I always enjoy the cultural elements of any film, the insertions here seemed mere adornments. Not sure how to categorize this - Com dramedy perhaps? Nevertheless, a bit skeptical about the rating given to this film as a result.
