Nice episode but that bar

Why is Jack never working in his own bar? He has time to check out on Mel as if he were a stalker, time to drive her around, to look for a house, to get involved in the Calvin business, to visit his ex who seems to be pregnant with twins but it doesn't show. When he goes to his place of work it is only to pour himself a cup of coffee or get breakfast for the mrs. He hardly ever works at all and lets Preacher do all the stuff. I'm getting a bit fed up with his character. And am I the only one who noticed that between season 1 and 2 the bar is suddenly much closer to the river, has a big waterside terrace? I like watching this show as a sort of ambient 'almost time for bed' kinda show. But the bar and it's owner...not so much.

Wes has a twin brother who also happens to be a detective in Miami? Oh. Come. On. And I love how just bc a detective is from a big city they're automatically eons better than the local LEOs.

And these people NEVER work. No doctor and NP I know are as free as Doc and Mel. Jack is CONSTANTLY leaving the bar to Preacher's care. Preacher leaves it to Ricky (or vice versa). It's just crazy.

I usually love this show

I can't believe that the dud the twins thing. That's lame even in soap operas. I'll watch next season, but that was lazy writing.
