Easily the longest episode of the season still left me wanting more!
I don't know where to start, or if I can even attempt to encapsulate the levels of vulnerability & introspection this episode addresses for creatives of color.
The writing & direction are sharp & biting when needed. The collaborative cameos with fellow Black creatives was meta, surreal, & brilliantly witty.
The relationship Kenya & Drea share for cinema in contrast to Joya is particularly poignant, and no doubt reminiscent to Black viewers of daily conversations of film & television with friends and family.
Again, my absolute favorite episode of television in 2020
