An ancient tale of wonder

This movie is really special, the way i see it, it´s a dream within a dream. Solid entertainment. The opening sequences in the excavation site is wonderfull, the visuals top notch considering the era.

All in all 7/10

A good movie in the sands of Egypt

The dialogue is well written and punchy, this combined with some great characters bring the story to life and it turns out to be a terrific Film.

I was impressed with all the cool and awesome animation and VFX by the CGI team. The animation and VFX made the movie so much fun and entertaining for me to watch. the story needed a bit more work to make the movie much more fun. and also I enjoy the acting.

An amazing Egyptian Adventure!

It´s a great movie, full of great battles trough time, and excavation sites, love this kind of movies. The story begin in Tebes (Egypt) when they discover a secret tomb containing the necklace with the cross of the dead, it has an incredible power, when the curator in Lisbon touches it, he gets hurt, so when he gets to bed, he enters a new dimension in his sleep, taking him on a journey trough time to that place when the war began.

Love the easter egg from the temple of Solomon and the ark of the covenant, the great battle of Egypt against the romans, the sacrifice of the pharaoh with 3 gods Anubis and 2 others...this movie has it all.

Once again director Rui Constantino is bringing the goods, on a great adventure movie.

Archeological find.

Bought this one on bluray, and what a vision this director has, a simple premise of ancient piece found beneath the sands, allows the protagonista to travel trough time, to live the life he once had.

Loved this beyond my own imagination, the effects and characters are good, along with a story that really holds up.

For me it´s a real find.

Fun adventure film, to see with the family.

The special effects were the real star of the film, and they were visually rewarding and complimented the story in the right way in the right places. Out of the world music score.

Good entertainment

So if you're in a mood for brainless entertainment, I recommend that you set your intellect on stun, buy the large popcorn (WITH butter), and settle in for a couple of time of colorful, loud and fun.

A "Fun" adventure in Egypt...

An ancient object his sent to a museum in Lisbon, there the curator, touches the object, and on that night he has a dream...a dream that will take him on journey trough time, taking him to egypt reliving his past life, to discover secrets and ancient curses.

Loved the mummy, the animations of the ancient war, and the supernatural moments. A really good tale from Constantino Filmes, director Rui Constantino continues to surprise us all, with is low budget movies.
