Yep, the season 3 DVD is going to be a must-have

Warning: Spoilers
Along with Goodbye, My Friend and The Funcooker, this is a highlight of season 3, a season which in parts has been disappointing (Gavin Volure, Christmas Special). But other things disappointing at first became surprisingly worthwhile- The relationship between Liz and Dr. Drew Baird was utterly worthless until The Bubble came along, outing him as an amusingly incompetent man. Likewise, Jack's relationship with Elisa (played by Salma Hayek) seemed to be going nowhere until this episode aired. A bland character (no match for Phoebe or CC) has been revealed to be a black widow- that's dark, even a little scary. A point Liz raises- have you ever known anyone who's killed someone? I don't think I have outside war veterans. On the side, Jenna in this episode becomes a little scary too.

This episode has some sharp jokes and dialog- there's the girl in math class, Liz being TGS' closest thing to a man, the question of whether Liz understands men (she doesn't). And we have a nice twist- Tracy has never cheated on his wife. That avoids stereotypes. So the lesson for the day is- don't lose faith in 30 Rock. 8.5/10

Fantastic Episode!

This is the nineteenth episode of the third season of 30 Rock and it is an excellent episode. It's quite engaging and very funny. All the subplots are ludicrous, but that makes the jokes even funnier. Salma Hayek returns to the 30 Rock and she shines brightly, especially when she makes her big reveal and the aftermath that follows.

In this episode, "The Ones," Jack and Liz shop for an engagement ring, but Jack suffers doubt when he sees Eliza again and she reveals her dark past. Meanwhile, Jenna falls in love with a local paramedic and she decides to poison Kenneth in order to get close to him.

Overall, this episode is just a riot. It is very funny and my favorite scenes are when Jenna keeps on poisoning Kenneth in order to find her man. Another strong episode thanks to the return of Salma Hayek. I rate this episode 9/10.

Hilarious

Warning: Spoilers
So many pop culture references in this hilarious episode of 30 Rock, an episode which gets us closer to the end of season 3. I chuckled at the reference to "Femme Fatale", the Spanish name for Fatal Attraction.

It's easy to forget that 30 Rock and Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip debuted on NBC at the same time. Conventional wisdom was that Sorkin's powerhouse series be the one that would survive the first season, with 30 Rock being a one season wonder. But history has proved otherwise.

The Ones was one of the funniest of "30 Rock" episodes from last season

Warning: Spoilers
This is perhaps the funniest episode of "30 Rock" I've seen from the previous spring run of shows. Salma Hayak is back as Elisa who has a terrible secret she doesn't want revealed but when a Hispanic maid wanders into Jack's office and sees her picture, she gives the moniker of "The Black Widow" in Spanish. Turns out Elisa was once married and killed her husband when she found him cheating on her. So Jack goes clubbing-to test his faithfulness-with Tracy who we find out despite his own adulterous reputation with his entourage, had never strayed from Angie. Meanwhile, Jenna develops a crush on a male paramedic after he comes to cure Lutz of an injury...Like I said, plenty of funny lines and scenes permeate here. Seeing Kenneth reacting during his allergies was especially good. Also another scene implying a possible Jack/Liz affair from Elisa was good for some laughs. With that said, I only have three more episodes to watch before the season premiere...

The Ones (#3.19)

Warning: Spoilers
Jack finds out that Elisa has a big secret. She is a black widow, the woman who killed her husband after she found out about his cheating. Tracy deals with the issue of his wife wanting him to tattoo her on his body. And Jenna meets a cute paramedic who is her fan, but can't find him after so she tries to poison Kenneth to get 911.

A great episode. So many wonderful moments.

Elisa is great in this episode. The idea of her being a black widow is already awesome. The whole joke about her not being able to speak English because she didn't speak it for many months was a winner too.

Absolutely loved Jenna when she was poisoning poor Kenneth. Great scene. And another part of this story that made me laugh a lot was Lutz eating the phone number.
