This is the longer of the two featurettes on the DVD of Speed Racer. Its 15 minute running time consists of footage from the film(including the seemingly real old material from the early days of racing), the 3D models of the four-wheeled vehicles of the movie(with and without their paint job) spinning on the screen so we can see the design from all angles, and a "come see it this Saturday!"-type voice VO narrating, adding "-ator" to the end of words. Maybe these details fit the series, I don't know, I've never watched a second of it(and I wouldn't have been interested in the flick if it wasn't for the Wachowski's). If not, this is a quarter of an hour of nothing but technobabble. Other than as porn for car fanatics, what interest is any of this to anyone? This sorta spoils stuff from the picture, and it's best to wait until after seeing it to watch this. It is edited nicely enough, and it doesn't try to be anything else than it is. There is nothing offensive in this, other than brief suggestive content. I recommend this to the people who didn't realize that the camera focused more on the metal and gears than the curves and girls in the adaptation(yes, I know it's for kids, still, it's not like the chicks *weren't* hot). 6/10
