Warning: Spoilers
Someone sabotaged the printing press at the local newspaper in the middle of the night, and dressed up as a Viking, it seems.

The only clue is the origami swan left on the premises.

The suspects given are the mayor, the theatre owner and Miss Twitchell, who plays the church organ.

Twitchell disappears and a sheet of music dropped by the Viking (or somebody) is the same paper used to print out programs for the theatre, so now off to the theatre, where a pirate is seen playing the organ, but then the very talkative magician keeps appearing.

Then when Miss Twitchell turns up and happily plays the organ, counterfeit bills are raining down out of the pipes.

The revelation is a little weak. If the origami figures were the big tipoff clue, why did the 'bad guys' leave them at the scene to begin with?

Warning: Spoilers
When the local newspaper finds its printing press is being used to print counterfeit money, The Clue Club follow the trail of clues to an old condemned theater.

Stop me if this sounds familiar. A group of teens and their dog(s) go around solving mysteries. I can hear you saying "Scooby Doo, right?". Yes... and no. Hanna-Barbara repeated the successful formula many times over, from Goober and the Ghost Chasers to The Funky Phantom to Clue Club. Is it ripping it off if the ripper and the ripee are one and the same? Being a 70s Saturday morning kids cartoon, I wasn't exactly expecting Agatha Christie here, but the actual mystery and the mechanics of solving it are so stupefyingly stupid that I actually found myself staring agape at the screen for several minutes afterwards.
