Hey, Bold And The Beautiful fans. We've got some major casting news for you guys in this new article, and it sounds like it could result in a major twist for the Hope stolen baby storyline. It turns out that the producers have decided to bring on the mother of Reese's accomplice Florence! That's right, guys. They're about to make this a family affair. According to the folks over at People.com, the Bold And The Beautiful producers have hired veteran actress Denise Richards to come on and portray Florence's mother Shauna Fulton. The Shauna character is a long term contract role. That means we can expect to see a lot Shauna as well as Florence in the future. Really, it just sounds like they're going to drag this storyline out even more. The official description that's been attached to the new Shauna Fulton character reads like this, "Shauna is a fun-loving,...

As long-time fans of whip-smart scene-stealer Elizabeth Banks, we were stoked for her leading role in Walk of Shame. Unfortunately, this raunchy vehicle is proving a lemon for the comedienne, failing to impress critics, or theater audiences (though numbers suggest it's doing well on VOD). Now to top it off, she's being sued over it. THR reports Elizabeth Banks and the producers of Walk Of Shame are being sued by Dan Rosen, a screenwriter who claims the concept for the film was stolen from a script he gave Banks back in 2007. He's filed the case through his production company, ironically called Shame on You Productions. Rosen's published screenplay credits include the horror comedy The Last Supper, which centers on a bunch of psychotic liberals who turn cannibal on conservatives, and the little-known R-rated comedy Freeloaders. In his suit, Rosen claims he penned a screenplay called Darci's Walk of Shame, and...

Less than a week after Walk of Shame was simultaneously released in theaters and through VOD outlets, its producers have been hit with a lawsuit that claims that the indie film starring Elizabeth Banks was misappropriated from a writer's screenplay. The plaintiff in the case is Shame on You Productions, operated by Dan Rosen, whose screen credits include The Last Supper and Freeloaders. According to the complaint filed on Wednesday in California federal court, Rosen attempted to get a screenplay called "Darci's Walk of Shame" developed seven years ago. Since her days at G4, Olivia Munn has made a decent name for herself as a film and TV star. From delivering satire on "The Daily Show" to talking fast on the Aaron Sorkin scripted "The Newsroom" and bit parts in Date Night and Iron Man 2, Munn is currently in talks to join Mortdecai, the crime comedy based on Kyril Bonfiglioli's The Great Mortdecai Moustache Mystery, the author's final novel which remained unfinished until satirist and parodist Craig Brown completed it. Though her role is unknown, this is poised to be one of her highest profile jobs with Johnny Depp in the lead role of the David Koepp directed film. Considering the only cast members on board are Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor, we're betting Munn's roles is pretty sizable. Munn has taking roles larger than the aforementioned brief appearances on the big screen, but they have...

Breaking news from the Channel 4 team! Or whatever station Ron Burgundy and his motely crew are associated with in Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Director Adam McKay has added two more cast members to the film currently shooting in Atlanta as Greg Kinnear and Josh Lawson are aboard.Deadline’s report doesn’t mention what they’ll be playing, though we could see Kinnear as a fellow news type. Both men have solid comedy form, though Kinnear is probably better known to everyone from work such as Baby Mama, Little Miss Sunshine, Stuck On You and Mystery Men. Yeah, we brought up Mystery Men. What of it? He’s funny in it.Australian actor, writer and comedian Lawson worked with Ron himself, Will Ferrell in last year’s The Candidate. He’s also been bringing bumbling laughs to Us cable comedy drama House Of Lies and was seen in indie comedy Freeloaders.

It's kind of hard to believe it's been twelve years since Super Troopers first was released, and I don't think I've seen it since it was in theaters. I honestly never thought of or expected to see a sequel for the movie, but it looks like the Broken Lizard comedy troupe is getting back together to give us one! Since Super Troopers they've made a few other comedies such as Club Dread, Beerfest, The Slammin' Salmon, The Babymakers, and Freeloaders, none of which have been as good or funny as their first film.
Apparently Super Troopers 2 secured financing back in 2009, but writers and the studio couldn't agree on a script. Now in a recent interview with Guy Speed, Kevin Heffernan, who played Farva, said that the sequel could start shooting this year!

The original Super Troopers premiered at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival and played in theaters a year later in February of 2002, and questions of a sequel have persisted ever since. The Broken Lizard comedy troupe has since made Club Dread, Beerfest, The Slammin' Salmon, The Babymakers, and Freeloaders, but it's safe to say that none of those follow-up projects were as iconic as the group's breakout effort. But it looks like they're going back to what worked, as Guy Speed (via ScreenCrush) has an interview with Kevin Heffernan (who played Farva) who says the comedy sequel could finally get underway this year. Read on! We last heard that Super Troopers 2 secured financing way back in 2009, but though multiple drafts were written, it sounds like the writers and the studio couldn't agree on a script, until now. Here's what Heffernan told Guy Speed: “There will be a Super Troopers sequel. We...

The Broken Lizard comedy troupe has come a long way from its humble beginnings at Colgate University. While Jay Chandrasekhar and Kevin Hefferman serve as the ring leaders, Broken Lizard tends to play by its own rules, with no singular executive producer who chooses the team’s material. It’s worked for the boys, as they’ve created the funniest film in the last decade with Super Troopers, and have thrived today making many comedy pictures. One of those Freeloaders, about five guys and one girl living in the home of Adam Duritz free of charge, but when Adam sells the home, they do everything they can to ensure they keep the place. The last time Dan Rosen directed a movie, it was the middling thriller The Curve (aka Dead Man’s Curve) in 1998. He hasn’t been steadily working since then or anything, but now he’s back with a second directorial effort called Freeloaders that has a new Nascar style trailer: the only thing good about it are the crashes. And there are many. The premise is good enough: a bunch of slackers living in a rock star’s mansion are about to get kicked out because he wants to sell, so they try to raise money to buy it from him. Unfortunately, well, just watch the trailer for yourself and get ready to laugh for the wrong reasons: The filmmakers behind the worst National Lampoon and American Pie spin-offs have got to be feeling pretty good about themselves right about now. Freeloaders is being touted as another Broken Lizard flick (or being sold as “From the Producers...

Here's a story for y'all: Way back in January of 2009, the comedy troop known as Broken Lizard ("Super Troopers," "Beerfest") began filming "Freeloaders." But despite the cult status of their previous efforts, "Freeloaders" has been sitting on a shelf for nearly four years, gathering dust, leading fans to wonder why.
Well, the first trailer for "Freeloaders" has finally arrived and now we know exactly why nobody wanted to release this movie for the last four years.
Is it too late to put this back on the shelf?
That's not to say there aren't some theoretical reasons to watch "Freeloaders," of course. For instance, you may be studying the film oeuvre of Olivia Munn, which seems unlikely, but anything is apparently possible in this world. Or maybe you're the world's biggest fan of Nat Faxon, who since filming "Freeloaders" has gone on to headline the Fox sitcom "Ben and Kate." Or maybe.

While it's not strictly true to say that Steven Soderbergh's next planned pic - male stripper drama Magic Mike - has been completely loaded with testosterone, it could certainly benefit from more of a female presence. And that's just what the director is adding, with Olivia Munn signing on to the cast.
Magic Mike sees Channing Tatum (whose based the concept on his own past as a teenage stripper in Florida) playing the titular role, a male exotic dancer who trains up a new protégé in Alex Pettyfer.
Matthew McConaughey is aboard to play Dallas, himself a former stripper who now owns the club where Mike works. And then there's True Blood's Joe Manganiello as "Big Dick" Richie, whose name should pretty much sum up his appeal to the crowd, and Matt Bomer as another clothes-shedding type. But there's also Cody Horn as Pettyfer's character's sister, and Riley Keough as his troubled girlfriend.

Richards played 007's love interest Christmas Jones in The World Is Not Enough, while Brit Seymour was Roger Moore's Solitaire in 1973's Live & Let Die.
The two actresses have something else in common - Richards has signed on as a contestant in the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars - the talent show Seymour once took part in.

Joining the gang in their quest for comedic supremacy, will be Josh Lawson and Brit Morgan who have...
