False religiosity as a cover for a lack of spirituality
MarcusCyron21 April 2021
I just watched the episode and now really don't know how to cope with what to say. Even the first episode was weak. But I would never have thought that she could top that second.

Sitcom episodes about religion, God and shimmer, about the church have always been the low point of these series. Mostly a primitive, simple picture of religion is shown that in the end asserts the correctness of Christianity without any closeness to reality, without any conviction, without any path of knowledge. Completely automatically.

Now everyone can and should believe whatever they want. Here you go. But no one deserves to be exposed to this cheap form of superficial, superficial religiosity with a mallet. Religion in this cheap form as a consolation, as an association for a soul to use after a loss, in connection with sitcom laughs from the reserve and a despicability of the justified criticism of the institutionalized form of religion is cynical and a moral no-go. Superficial religiosity instead of real spirituality. That is false religiosity, with which one wants to prove to other people one's own belief that one does not have. Because real faith cannot be so hollow, empty, so shallow.

Jamie Foxx is the series co-creator and co-producer. That is, he knew exactly what was happening here. For me it is a disappointment that the actor from "Ray" and from "Django Unchained" seriously, deliberately and blindly made such cheap crap.

Are we back to 2000s'? I'm just amazed how they've managed to create even worse episode than the first one. I'm not going to be played with that emotions. Nice trick to get more views giving "aww" but they should create better content, better jokes, hire new actors because those they're having lack of identity. It's just really bad and how this episode has 6.5/10 is a mistery for me.
