I have liked Renee Elise on other shows, but I feel like she has finally found her perfect TV role here. Wickie is definitely modeled in many ways after Jenna Maroney on 30 Rock, but that is not a bad thing and in some ways she has taken the character beyond what Jane Krakowski could do. The Cray and Ray thing was just too dumb though.
Sara Bareilles and Tina Fey on screen together, after the clear parallel between Dawn and Liz Lemon was also good to see. I was curious to see if they would reveal her as a fake Dolly Parton or not, and am definitely glad they decided to go that route in the end after the crazy and funny song.
