If you are into Chinese dramas, you will enjoy it !!

Not everyone's cup of tea, but if you are into Chinese dramas you will surely enjoy it. Typicall melodrama with tragic chain of events, equiped with twists and turns. Both the lead actors are great and really uplift the the plot as well as the overall quality of the series. It is really a time consuming series having 34 episodes each lasting for about 45 minutes. In short, enjoyable, refreshing and puts smile on the face. Worth giving a shot for sure !!

A beautiful story.

Warning: Spoilers
I think this is a beautiful story. The lead male in the story begins to see the family he always wanted for himself play out in the story. He seems fascinated with the mothering the female lead gives to their son. He is wise not to stop it as the story progresses. The female lead gives their son the mothering the lead male had sorely missed in his life, which changes his life. I think he not only falls in love with the female lead, but also the little family the mother and son make out of hardship, falling in love also with his father role, as he begins to be the father to the son that he never experienced growing up. I think he also sees the flaws he has in maintaining relationships.

There is a lot of psychology in this story. There are everyday saviors that pass thru our lives, leaving us forever changed. There are people who are catalysts for change and improvement in others, ... if allowed. The mother plays into this role quite well.

Well-acted. Full of excellent reflection of real emotions. There are story characters that one can totally identify with, moving the story deeper into your heart.

Soap opera but could not stop watching

Warning: Spoilers
Had to take a few points off for the meaness of the mother of the male lead, who in their right mind could possibly love her? She's the base cause of the whole tragedy in my opinion. FL is to weak, way to much crying and such nonsense, also she does some really stupid stuff, and I wish they could have found someone prettier! Loved the adorable little boy, he did a good job! People might enjoy all the angst of this soap opera type movie, goes on a little to long, by the last few episodes I could not wait for it to be over! Three is a happy ending, takes to long to get there. Enjoy it if you have the time. Having said all that, I still could not stop watching it.

I could put up with a lot. But, a hateful old woman who everybody insists loves a man but detests his son who she has never known? Too much to swallow. A beautiful face is never an excuse for rotten behavior. Nevertheless, this attempt to redeem an adult who is hateful to the core highlights one of the conundrums of Asian TV. A mother can get a free pass for the most atrocious behavior. However, this takes the cake.

The female lead always walk around the male lead in fear, on literal eggshells. She takes blame and responsibility for things which are not her fault. So , she is neither humble or wise, just desperate to retain what she believes is essential for her. It is demeaning. Then she seeks to build a bridge by utilizing well known excuses for bad behavior: being a single mom. Been black, a teacher in the Caribbean too long for crap. Anyone that bad behaved needs a mirror and straight talk. Taught many boys who are today men. A bad environment or circumstances are no excuse for destructive behavior. She hasn't changed. Was crippled in an accident wherein her son's brother's mother dies, and she demonstrates neither genuine remorse nor wisdom gained.

Loved title but neither plot nor direction illuminates worthiness of such. Manipulation is not genuine conviction. I stopped watching this for same reason I stopped watching lifetime and BET: no matter how intelligent you are, you cannot induce poison and be left unharmed. As a woman belonging to the worst represented race and nations on TV, but who has influence over young minds, it is critical to comprehend how my own world view can help or harm my community. I apologize for my mistakes whether to one child or a class.

Loved child actor, he did a good job. Eventually the second male lead loses his ability to convince anyone who cares to think of his affection for female lead as his performance changes. The male lead looks as though he is constantly constipated and fails to be convincing as boss. Demonstrates authority and power but no in-depth knowledge of being worthy of titles genius and top performing business .

Yikes

It's obvious this is an older series (premiered in 2014) because the portrayal of women back then was laced with healthy doses of misogyny and abuse. Loving Never Forgetting has a ML who together with his brother, mother, and security detail all physically and verbally abuse the FL who probably spent 60% of screen time either pleading with the ML or crying/sobbing/retching all in an attempt to get her husband's attention so she could clear up a misunderstanding. The was zero respect for her as a human being but was only accorded grace due to her status as mother to their son. It's an incredibly difficult series to watch and some may find it triggering. Save your time and mental health by giving this one a wide berth.
