Classic Blacklist!
Kleivis2722 February 2021
Finally! A classic Blacklist episode, and I am very intrigued regarding the Cooper storyline and I am excited to see what they do with Reddington regarding the cliffhanger this episode.

Warning: Spoilers
It is not often you see fear or worry in Reds eyes, but you do here. Good episode 👏. The only gripe I have is how fast Keen is becoming a criminal "mastermind". She does not have the capacity or temper to be in that position.

More like the old days

Warning: Spoilers
Racing against the clock, averting major disasters and getting the bad guy.

Plus none of Keen's entitled BS. Don't get me wrong, nothing against Megan Boone, I think she's been given the poisoned chalice. Keen is now so unlikeable that any episode without her is a relief.

Great to go back to what made the show great.
riquelmy26-882-41662022 February 2021
First of all, great episode filled with twist and turns. Second, it is great not to see Agent Keen' annoying everyone. I am happy that the show has been giving more air time to the other main characters. Please keep it up. Great last few episodes.

Best episode yet.
soulofdeath-4976120 February 2021
Made an account just to leave this review. This is by far the best and the most plot twist packed episode in the entire season. The beginning of this season was kinda underwhelming. Not as much as some people claim it to be but disappointing nonetheless. However, in the past episode things started to get interesting and in this one the entire episode was exciting and there was almost no filler scenes. Every scene added to the excitement, resulting in an episode nothing short of incredible. Must watch.

Good Episode - One of the better ones this season
nickzapapp21 February 2021
Some good elements in this episode. The plot continues to build, I am quite invested in the cooper storyline and am curious if Red will follow through with the orders from the russian man.

I think they did a good job of returning to the standard case of the week strucutre, and did a good job of including everyone, I think all cast members had a good amount of screen time (ie they did good in not excluding Park and Aram) - Perhaps part of this is because Liz is absent.

I didn't like the minimal action... The Blacklist seem to present themselves as an action based show, but it consistently lacks anything but good action, its rare to see a fight scene, and the only action we saw was really someone getting shot, and FBI raids; lets just say The Blacklist has no action like Blindspot, and really needs to stop trying to be, if they are not even adding fight scenes and stunts into the mix.

I think the whole freelancer storyline seemed a bit filler, I wish they could have used him more.. Perhaps another blacklister with more of a sting like Gina Zanetakos would have been interesting for liz to secure. It would have also been interesting to keep him around and have a 'conclusion episode' to his part in this arc.

I am confused with this N13 business, it seems the show is forgetting that Dom said to Katarina Rostova that she and Reddington both have the archive...??? This has not been addressed, nor clarrifed.

I really am sick of the show 'going' to the same countries over and over again... I think if they go to Paris (France) and Turkey again it will be ridiculous.

There are so many great countries like Greece, and Italy that they haven't even explored..?

Pretty tired of this plot
widowmkr-6594227 October 2021
And I'm so ck to death of the spoiled little rich girl/FBI agent who does exactly what she wants, answers to no one and will not stop whining about her mother, who she knew for about 5 minutes.

Confirmation!

He literally said that "I'm not her father". Although he said that in another form in s4e22, but i thought it was just another lie to save her. SO where does that leave us about the true identity? Using reddington's name to find Katarina and some of his worst enemis? Or he really is Reddington, the Dna test of bones are fake, and he is not her father, but trying to save her? Is he really n13? Why does he know some russian dudes? Just another classic blacklist episode.

Very good and can offer a way out.
kaffash9926 February 2021
One great episode as usual. Using the old format of Red +FBI vs all . But adding a way out of the problem of Keen becoming the number 1 enemy as She can be the princess of wales for king red. This can lead to a great line of confrontation /consolation . The subplots are great as well . Red again is the dark savior. Well done.

What the Show Needs
Hitchcoc8 December 2022
Here we have Red facing an imminent danger from Chemical Mary. He isn't infallible but is able to get his ducks in a row. Some of it involves getting in bed with some pretty bad characters. But he always seems to be on top of things and he does have a moral compass that Elizabeth has never had. What's too bad is that this spoiled brat continues to have a lot of power which she has never earned. She is pulling things out of a hat that she has never shown an ability to do before. As a matter of fact, she always seemed stunned when Red would show up ahead of her. She is out to lunch so often and makes such bad decisions. Yet the writers seem to give her a lot of knowledge.

[8.7] Weight, pace and momentum

Warning: Spoilers
At last, an episode resembling the old good Blacklist with suspense, thrill and thinking. Loved the technological access hardware mimicking a password.

Keen, a crim. Mastermind?! Not so credible, so fast, but I'm sure the next episodes will gradually expand on that.

Effects and sets are bad but story is ggod
guyjrpilon15 November 2021
All through season 8, the effects are utterly awfull. It feels like a B grade after-school special.

The rides in cars have really bad backgrounds. The sets are really ordinary. The lighting is bad. And in this episode, the plane's interior is just stupidly huge an reminiscent of the original al Star Treks. And what plane has a 10 feet ceilings?

To bad 'cause the stories are good but the effects are really really bad.

One of the laziest scene writings. The story is good
Sibiriak_com12 May 2024
The file that was hidden on Rakitin's flash-drive is Crime and Punishment by Dostoevskiy. Can you imagine? You dedicated 40 minutes of your life and paid for it either by ads or subscription or for the episode. And maybe you were following the story all these 7 years, And there is someone who was paid to develop one of essential props for the main story. And this person probably with slice of pizza in one hand and the mouse in the other laid back and said "ah, screw it" and just googled Dostoevsky and copy-pasted two pages from Crime and Punishment. I'm hoping that next episodes will reveal it was some sort of code. I don't think it's certifies as spoilers, anybody watching would expect that somebody will open the flash-drive. And since you would not understand a word there so there is no spoilers.
