Solid Vampire YA show

I would rather my daughter watch this than any of the twilight movies. Is it a cheesy vampire YA show?.. yes. But it's fun, has great strong female characters, a vampire relationship that doesn't involve stalking and some interesting family mystery drama. It was easy to watch over a weekend.

Everything I wanted as a young lesbian

This show was really everything I wanted when I was younger and forced to watch straight vampire shows, don't get me wrong they were good. But I could never see myself in the character because they were all straight.

This show is very camp and cheesy and has many tropes, but it's comes with the genre.

Calliope and Juliette's chemistry is amazing and I can't wait for the show to get renewed and a bigger budget to really flourish.

This show is amazing!! I've watched a lot of vampire shows and movies but this one is definitely one of the best. I really hope they renew this show for a second season because i can't wait to watch it!!

This show was filled with exciting scenes, passionate moments and a very good story line. I followed this story till the end and with it ending the way it did I am eager for a season 2 to be just as excited about.

All the characters got so much depth this episode it was such a great finale i loved it sm this show deserves a season 2!! Especially with the cliffhanger it's so underated and deserves more attention and this ending really was the best episode in the whole series. Loved the acting and writing this episode!

Just watched this series in one night. I love the way there is not any homophobic content and it is not about coming out. The couple is just hated by each others familys for their profession or being. Furthermore, I like the representation for young/adult woman, who are questioning theirselves in refence to their sexuality. Besides this I love the references to the popculture and the music. Finally I have to say the storyline was melting my heart. I really liked the realistic acting of the awkward first love. And it would be amazing, to see how their lovestory will be continued.

I finished the show in a day and im rewatching it i need more. The finale made me want to cry and it leaves me wanting no needing more. I will be the first to watch season 2 and i will be the first to finish it please make more seasons.

Overall the show is great, the story between 2 star-crossed lovers seemingly destined to be together, yet the entire world seems to come between them and they have to make it work, Romeo and Juliette with a modern, lesbian, vampiric twist on it, love it. I'm always looking for good lesbian movies and shows to watch, but most of the time they just don't deliver what I'm looking for, and rarely do I find something I love, but this was everything I'm looking for and more and I love this show so far. The acting is amazing all throughout, the choreography is well done and well executed, the chemistry between the actors/actresses is phenomenal, we're presented with Juliette, Cal, and Ben being un-closeted already so we didn't have to endure any akward and prolonged coming out scenes, and no homophobia, so many characteristics about the show that make it an incredible watch. I only have a one thing I was confused and slightly aggravated about in episode 8, why didn't Juliette tell Cal and her family that there was a spell to turn vampires into humans, I can maybe understand since she might have not thought about it due to the chaos, but also why didn't Oliver or his girlfriend say anything to anyone that they could preform a spell and turn Theo into a human again. That would be the only thing I would change, or maybe do something with that in season 2 so they could make Theo human again, other than that I have to say the show was phenomenal and I can't wait for season 2.

I always loved vampires, hunters etc.. but every movie I watched was straight. The main characters were straight and I couldn't feel myself in them. I don't know how to describe it so I hope you understand. But now, when we have First kill, I am happy because this is finally the show I've been looking for. Thank you so much and please give us a season 2.

This last episode had me tearing up when we got to Theo and his mother saying their goodbyes:(, then the shocking turn of where Theo ended up. God, this was a really good episode, had me drawn in the whole time. Favorite part was when Elinor was being arrested and the camera peeped Juliette and her smirk at the top of the stairs. YOU SLY MF... we better get a season 2 PLEASE.

Astounding Series

Remarkable love story between the two main characters, great chemistry among all cast members. I've never seen such an invested relationship between lesbians play out as the main love story without coming out and homophobic parents being the main ploy. So over all great series looking forward to season two because it definitely deserves another.

Netflix Strikes Again

Was I expecting a cliffhanger on the last episode? Yes, yes I did. Was I tired of seeing it when I did? Obviously. It isn't really surprising that Netflix went this route and if the assurance of a second season is given, the cliffhanger ending may actually stand. BUT, the thing with netflix is they don't stick with film integrity and more to "which ones give more money". Alas, a second season is necessary if the plot is supposed to make sense. That ending standing alone on itself? Very weak. I hope this show gets renewed.

NEED a season 2. NEED Calliope and Juliette back together. Their chemistry is ridiculously good. It feels like they are soul mates. The whole cast is amazing. I'm emotionally invested. I'd also like to see Calliope regret what she told Juliette at the end there. OUCH.

A little guilty pleasure in the form of a mixture between Twilight and Buffy against vampires in LGBT sauce. Hoping for a season 2... I finished the series in one evening despite the fact that it's pretty light evening it's super interesting and the scenario is original.

I really loved this series a love story between vampire and hunter LGBT version frankly grandiose we are very attached to the couple I'm only waiting for season 2 to see the sequel I'm only waiting for its really incredible this series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show, I watched all of it in a night and a morning. It has great natural queer representation and even though the storyline is cheesy, it works and there's still a nice plot. Great characters and dilemmas! Crossing my fingers for a second season on top of that finale!

The first episode has a thought-provoking ending. The more we watch, the more we want to watch. The love between the two of them is not questioned at any time and is totally NATURALIZED. There's still matriarchy, confrontation between families, fights, hot people and a lot of perfection. We need more queer content like this. I'm addicted and I need 10 more seasons!!!

What an incredible show. I really need it to be renewed for a season 2. The finale sets up so many good storylines for a next season! This episode broke my heart, Juliette & Cal need to expand on their relationship, maybe Juliette has a "dark phase" she gets into after Cal telling her she doesn't want her anymore.

Too be honest the fact that it's highlights 3 of my favorite things 1. Interracial relationship that's a huge part, 2. Vampires ever since Vampire Diaries Im addicted, and 3. LGBTQ makes me so happy for this too be represented. I love this show I can't wait for season 2.

The.the build up to get to this finale was truly great, I was sure I knew how things would unfold and end, but I was ready for how everything went down. Definitely worth it.
