Oh not again

Deja Vu as Johnny keeps up his jealousy streak, like why can't his character develop past this? Otherwise, a decent episode with a few comedic and heartfelt moments. These kids are really quite nasty.

filler but not bad

Why is it the young Johnny always has giant lips? William Zabka has and had thin lips and the pre-teen Johnny and now this little Home Alone Johnny has... well anyhow...

It seems that Terry Silver is Kylo Ren to John Creese's Darth Vader and his entire purpose here is becoming more clear... He seems to be doing for Creese what Creese eventually did for Johnny, and since we had a "Creese was bullied too" backstory maybe Terry Silver is actually The Emperor...

Anyhow... this is more a building episode, not a bad thing since the last episode was the first to really get the ball rolling from the first two awkwardly building which is what shows do when new seasons begin...

Also, Urkel Son is becoming more clear too... He's basically the new Robbie while Robbie's the new Johnny before Johnny became...

Anyhow, it's all quite complicated at this point, but not in a bad way...

It's getting good

The conflict between Johnny and Daniel is building, and the evolution of how Sam and Miguel feel about their senseis is well done and layered. Lots of good nostalgic humor and funny 80s references too.

Warning: Spoilers
I have to confess i'm a bit of a Japanophile, & i like how in addition to the usual exploration of the Sensei/student relationship, this episode also touches on the Senpai/Kouhai dynamic with the new arrival Kenny & his fellow Cobra Kai's.

Good one!!

Now you dont have to worry about anything because Cobra Kai is getting back on its track as usual it gets.

Seeing Johnny and Daniel together is much of a relief.

On the other side, Kenny...... Ahhh, here we go again.

Ralph - Flexiblity
paul-2917210 January 2022
It's incredible how this show continues to maintain the level of quality! Kudos to the writers, actors, and filming crew for this achievement!

However, poor Ralph Macchio should have worked on his flexibility for this episode. Watching him with his half crossed legged effort was probably as painful for him as it was for me! Clearly, they made the younger actors copy his not-quite-cross-legged position.

Don't the writers/director know that there is a kneeing position that is used in martial arts that he could probably have achieved?!

Great humor

Warning: Spoilers
We got some extreme training for the three Dojo's. I give creid for the humor. I like the fly by his pants Eagle Fang concepts. The plot twists and silly introduction of the characters reminds me of the silly movie Dodge ball. Not going be classic t v but hey it's Cobra Kia.

8 stars.

Bicephaly

Warning: Spoilers
A weak episode, but not bad.

The plot of the cobra kai of both characters was uninteresting. Kenny, Tory and Terry.

I felt sorry for Kenny and Tory in this episode. The fight between Robby and Terry was good, but nothing more than that.

Now, in miyaig-do and Hank Eagle it was more interesting, I understand Johnny, it would also be like that if that happened to me. Both parts were good, but I preferred Miguel and Daniel more.

Kenny and Tyler's cine drive scenes were cool, I confess I felt hate for Falcon and the other two boys from miyaig-do hank eagle.

And at the end of the episode I didn't like it, they got into a fight again, right? I didn't like it very much.

But after that it was so much better, the scene with Terry and Kreese at Johnny-Daniel dojo was great! This made me really looking forward to the next episode.

3,5/5.
