I really liked the first couple of episodes. It had some great potential but unfortunately Pip just annoyed the bejayzus out of me. Jaime and Alex were interesting and could be developed more.

The ending ruins it

I started off on board, ready to see what interesting ways the series would go about subverting the whole "virus kills off people with certain chromosomes" trope and how that impacts society, but unfortunately I felt like the show fumbles with executing what could have been an interesting new take. Between the wild tonal shifts between the first half of the series and the last and the almost slap stick way the series chooses to deal with sexual coercion and assault, I lost the thread with this one. There are a smattering of compelling choices, but taken all together, this show was a bit of a mess for me.
Fresh, funny and dark at the same time

Good job with this one, even though is pretty dark for a comedy. The cast is working pretty well together and apart from rare moments of vague rambling the story keeps your eyes wide open towards the screen. It's funny yes but the weird and dark factor are the things I loved the most. Can't wait for pt 2!

Warning: Spoilers
I loved the potential of this show, but the last episode just sucked and ruined the season.
The story starts out straight forward ... a virus of some sort kills all the men, and a world full of women needs to find a way to procreate. But are all the men really gone??? When one turns up, it looks like the women in charge are more interested in power than anything else. An interesting twist on the age old story of power, but then it just got weird. Too weird, and not in a good way.
The acting was, in my opinion, good.
I'd love to see this premise tried again, but with more imaginative writers ...

Can anyone count?

With a world population of about 8 billion that's about 4 billion males, With 99% dead, that leaves about 40 million alive. The current population of New Zealand is 5.1-5.2 million people. Imagine trying to ship 40 million additional people there and trying to house them, feed them, provide medical care, collect sperm, ship it world wide, etc. I know this is a comedy but there are limits to maintain so there is some kind of concept you can hold on to that is a BIT plausible. The premise could have been served by all men being put in thousands of facilities around the world and the action centered around one place in the world. Call me a nitpicker if you will but there are things that just take you right out of the situation as if in an action movie someone just shouts "bang you're dead" instead of actually holding a gun.
Brutal

Yikes! This is bad. I really wanted to like this show because I thought the concept could be interesting and humorous, but the writing is horrendous. It's just one bad idea after another. The writers don't seem to understand that having characters who make idiotic decisions doesn't automatically make them funny. It actually just makes them look stupid. It's frustrating to watch.
Wow! Hilarious! Great Cast!

Done with this....

After watching fifth episode I am done with this. In spite of interesting premise, first episode itself wasn't great, but I continued watching. 2nd and 3rd episodes were good, then again it went downhill. Most of the 4th episode is at some some sort of fair, 5th episode at dinner table. No edge of seat thrills because this is very low budget stuff. No funny moments. Hardly one or two jokes in an episode. Lone surviving male is hunted by a woman with a tranquilizer gun. That's how exciting it is.
Brilliant new series

So many things to love about this dark comedy. It is thought provoking and has a brilliant & diverse cast.
A flip on Handmaid's tale and women are entirely in charge of the series. I have been recommending it loudly and widely. I watched the entire series twice in three days. I never do that! Can't wait for Season 2. The future is very bright for the entire cast, production crew and director.

This is the best show I've seen in a long time. After binging the whole thing I was elated to find Ally Xue, J. J. Fong, and Perlina Lau's other shows, Flat3 and Friday Night Bites, on Youtube. Can't wait until season 2 and all the other wonderful things that I'm sure these three will create!!!! I'm now a fan for life.

What was wrong with Pip?! She was intelligent, but really stupid at the same time. She didn't think through things & her actions were really detrimental to her friends. The premise of the story, that all the men died, was similar to Y The Last Man, but that story was much more intelligently told. It doesn't look like there's another season for Creamerie & it was left with an unsatisfying ending. It's too bad because the writing could've been much better!
Cant stop binging it

Oh man, I am loving these characters. Each of the women have their own personality and mixed together facing the problems is so fun. The guy they captured is great and I love how the gay gal is like his "buddy".
And how the 3 women and him are forming a "team" against the powers that be.
Oh Pip, you finally broke the rules and it was fantastic!

Rubbish

Yes, this is real rubbish. Lots of feminist-driven 'what ifs' and little else. Dark is fine, but this is lazy, badly written, pretentious dark.
An ugly dystopian rant is the most positive thing I can say about this series.
My husband and I kept looking at each other as we watched - in utter disbelief. Not a 'wow' disbelief, but a 'how did this get made' disbelief.
The actors do their best, but the writing is so bereft of intelligence that they have very little to work with. Ditto the director. If you are going to make a series where the characters are this stupid you ought to anticipate something rubbing off on you.

Literally hurt to watch
emmalainerutherford20 December 2021
Please do not watch this show if you have any SA triggers. Not just that, it's very poorly paced and edited. The characters aren't given any motivations and the plot is moved by a series of "look in this drawer and find exactly what we need" kind of contrivances. I will also reiterate: DO NOT WATCH IF YOU HAVE TRIGGERS RELATING TO SA.
Throughly entertaining

Not good enough
SweetMuhfuggah17 December 2021
Love dark comedy. And Oz can make solid entertainment in this capacity; Mr Inbetween is proof positive of this. However, Creamerie is just not good enough. It seemed to have an opportunity to make something fun but they fumbled it. Doesn't belong in the "comedy" section. More of a light drama.
More, please
