There's potential...

They've managed to somewhat scale back Mel's preachy (not so) undertones which is great but if they don't quit making Macy so damn whiny and playing a constant victim, I'm gonna have to head out. I adored Macy as a character. She was smart and strong and encouraging to others. I'm not saying it isn't okay for people to be effected by events but I feel like season 3 Macy is completely different person than season 1 Macy. Bring back the independent and fierce Macy for the love of the power of three PLEASE.

I wish I had watched the episode when it aired so my review could be timely because WOW. That was one of the most tightly written episodes of the series so far, perfectly balancing A, B, AND C plots and keeping suspense throughout. Smartly handling discussions of race and continuing the thread about Macy's awful experience in the previous episode, introducing a new character with an interesting backstory and making us invested in her with not much screentime, and fleshing out the friendship between Macy and Jordan were just a few of the subplots that were really well handled. Truly a great episode, I hope they can keep this exact caliber up for the rest of the season.

Why does CW have to make their shows about identity politics instead of just letting good shows be good shows. They just canceled Batwoman because fans were turned off by this. They just have to have a character because they are gay or transgender. If you want true equality then these characters shouldn't be pushed on audiences, instead they should be allowed to develop organically.

And That was the final straw.

Only WOMEN can be witches? Why a load of EXCREMENT. YOU know absolutely NOTHING about how Magick or Witchcraft works. I have stuck with this show through some pretty questionable stoylines, and posturing but enough is ENOUGH. Your blatant Sexism has just cost you This viewer.
