Anthony Larusso...
TheRockson31 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Anthony let me down, expected more from the character, at least he had a "redemption" so to speak...

The episode was good, I liked the horror movie vibe used in the library, Kenny hitting the boys was satisfying

Didn't like the Eagle Fant training scene with the new girl, really? , kick in the balls?

The scenes at the cobra kai dojo were great, the character weaknesses were interesting, Kenny taking down Robby was beautiful, he's growing up...

The final scene involving kreese and terry was tense, kreese showing who's boss..

I dont care about Anthony
It is season four, come on, I dont want new arcs to begin, I want the old arcs to close, so I don't care about Anthony. This season is missing action so far, but this episode was solid, with emotional moments, which is unusual from Cobra Kai.

Uninteresting New Characters
dylanvanleuven20001 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The episode shines a little too much on characters that shouldn't really matter. Kenny, the new kid at Cobra Kai, is definitely the most interesting, both in acting and his character arc. But with Anthony Larusso? He's just being annoying and feeling out of place. But the new girl who is Johnny's student, she's awful. Weirdly kicking all of the Eagle Fang boys in the balls, not sure if that scene was for laughs or to make us dislike her character. Johnny and Miguel do have a nice conversation though.

The Weakness
nima-nk101 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So kreese not only showed his weakness but also potentially lost his only ally. Daniel's son being the bully also creates interesting dynamic. About the things people are complaining about, i don't think cobra kai is a woke political show now and i believe it never was. The "terms" used and moments in the script are either just for comedic purposes (like the new girl kicking boys in the nuts scene which was funny just like blonde bully underwear scene is season 1) or to show how much the world has changed compared to 80s. The problem is that our dear "right wing justice warriors" can't even take jokes or simply intimidated by just mentioning current left wing political terms! Just enjoy the show man.

Netflix DNA
xtidusxyunax1 January 2022
I love this show, I've loved it since day one on Youtube.

I knew once it hit Netflix it was a two blade sword.

It would reach the audience it deserves, but also Netflix will cram in their "message" much like everything they make. Season 3 got away with it, but Season 4 they include "The agenda".

Still love the show, but it can go downhill very quick if they keep on mandating stuff with these new characters.

Loving the new season so far!

I know the opinions are mixed on this point but this season for me is a much welcome improvement upon the last season and ìs much closer in spirit to the first season and the movie trilogy.

Great character stuff
mycannonball13 January 2022
Interesting stuff this season with various characters. Anthony went from being an occasional punchline to a character with an arc, and I like the direction it has taken. Very funny episode! The second half of season 4 has been very good!

the karate master in the library with the hands
Calicodreamin1 January 2022
This season is quickly losing the plot, like how did these kids get away with so much before getting caught? How useless is the school? More filler before the tournament and there's no heart.

Meh
jojoxoxoxo1 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I seriously LOVED the first season (amazing!), the other seasons were alright. It was great having the actors back and seeing them poke fun of themselves (and each other).

I'm waiting for this season to make me feel something other than "meh". So far season 4 has been more political than the other seasons, less "funny" - where's the banter between Daniel and Johnny? - and it's bordering on being annoying. (IE Amanda, Samantha and Tory and Anthony... they could have left Anthony eating the butter. That would have added some sort of comical aspect, rather than have him be the bully.) It's great seeing Silver but, meh. I hope this season gets back on the rails, because right now it feels like it's crashing.

The 2 new girls are annoying AF.
jester-4056431 December 2021
The last 2 episodes have been a chore to get through.

I understand these 2 new girls are meant to be woke and annoying, but I still have to sit through their painful scenes. The fact that both of them are suddenly Karate superstars right right out the gate is a bit ridiculous - especially when guys who have been training for 2 seasons are still treated like beginners.

And the 1 girl kicking all the guys in the balls. Come on. Someone should have retaliated.

Here's an idea, instead of sending Yasmine to Australia, get her to join Johnny's dojo. At least she was becoming a character we're invested in.

Also, to the writers, maybe go watch some YouTube vids of guys vs girls in wrestling, MMA, tennis ... etc. Not every girl is Wonder Woman. Not by a long shot.

No One Cares About Wolfgang Van LaRusso or Urkel
TheFearmakers1 January 2022
Seriously.... while we knew this was coming, that Daniel's son would lose his babyfat and will have to become part of the show... his story along with fake Jaden Smith Urkel-Son is just going nowhere.

This is the fourth season of a show with some great characters, some old, some new, but these characters that are new-new just get in the way.

Mind you, I like the connection between Urkel and Robbie, somewhat, but now having to go through Daniel's boy going through what he went through... being bullied... when that mirror-bully aspect already happened with. Miguel...

Miguel is the new Daniel, Robbie was the new Daniel then became the new Johnny and now is the new Creese while Creese has hired The Emperor to his flawed but redeemable Darth Vader and...

This show is simply becoming like the supermarket I just left being New Years...

Too dang crowded...

To sustain the quality, the writers should stick with Oscar and Felix aka Johnny and Daniel and stop overloading the shelves... I mean, how many people is Daniel going to teach to clean a car??????

One of the more memorable episodes.
mm-394 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
MIndefields is one of the more memorable episodes. Kobra Kia takes a break from the 80's and hits the next century. Watching Johnny's lack of computer skills gives the viewers the idea of how the older generation does not understand today's quirky computer behavior. The bullies are different, not the old punch in the mouth, but more computer style. I shake my head and don't understand. There is the explanation and a test of Larso parents about modern times. Their son has been so emerge into the computer world the son he does not understand feelings, the effects on others etc from the lack of human interaction. Lazy parenting and having the computer raise the kids is a problem. Well now there son has a real problem. This kicks in well when reality hits and the dad puts the hammer down. A more serious episode, but entertaining.
