Warning: Spoilers
I'm a huge fan of The Good Fight, having watched it since the start (although I never watched The Good Wife), but sadly this episode went full Brazil (Terry Gilliam) and Barton Fink. Okay, Elaine May was the spitting image of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but really, Patinkin's Court has become way too surreal for sure with its prisons and fines and all that.

Episode 508

Warning: Spoilers
Not quite as good as some past episodes, but still enjoyable. The Wackner stuff is probably close to running its course, so I'd keep an eye on that though.

Too Silly

Warning: Spoilers
"The Good Fight" seems to be fading away. The fake courtroom schtick has run its course. I'm a huge Mandy Patinkin fan too. His work on "Homeland" and "Criminal Minds" was amazing. He is one talented guy. For some reason the writers who had something good going before covid19 came back with some bad ideas. There were some good parts to this episode but not many. "Jumped the shark" comes to mind but I'm hoping for a huge season rebound. Not holding my breath though.

Brilliant way to show what is going on in the USA
aardkloot-0143113 August 2021
What a brilliant way of the writers to pinpoint exactly what going on in the USA. The corrupted justice system (thanks to the shameless Republicans and their orange fuhrer) en their 'solution' to hopefully (some day) restore some of the necessary integrity en decency in the government at large. However, it is a fact that half of the population of the USA has two-figure IQ's and probably will nót grasp the perfect symbolism that is so brilliantly present in this excellent series.

Too much!
raaqmx21 August 2021
The fake court thing is too absurd, so unfunny (it was at the beginning, but no anymore)... Something happen with the writers this season, it's like if all the writers are different from previous seasons or they are left of ideas.

Enough with the fake court, already!
Veritas9925 August 2021
I Love The Good Fight, and The Good Wife before, but this fake court thing is too much already...Is spoiling the whole pleasure to watch - already shadowed by too much politics...

Bad season
rsivan13 August 2021
This season is getting worse and worse. Can't figure out how is it funny to have a car towed by a non official institution. Just not funny, not substantial, not interesting.

Jumped the shark with this one
les-828-97733116 August 2021
I was willing to go along with the whole fake court thing, but this one was just ridiculous.

If it wasn't for Mandy Patinkin, I would have bailed on this long ago.

This show has lost touch with its audiences

Stoping trying to convince us this is someone kinda of ingenious political innuendo. This is absolutely bad TV. The show has completely lost touch with its audiences.

Embarrassing
ak202016 December 2021
I had started to increase my ratings for this series after the very poor beginning - but I now share other reviewers' opinions that the "false" court has worn out its stay.

It's now just embarrassing and silly. I think I am being generous offering a rating of 2 for this episode (I gave 9 to the previous one).

Still a good show but loses itself

Warning: Spoilers
On no planet do you legally get to steal someone's property. The premise of much of the episode just helps the show lose credibility.

Just gets more unbelievable
Not great or cleverly subtle in what it's trying to say... It's like someone with the writing ability of myself (not high) or a 16 year old, whom has just realised the world isn't fair was employed to create this episode...

Boring... We all know that the do gooders behind this crap and the whole production team are still corrupt in their Hollywood ways... Hypocrisy marks the spot. The spot shall be named "Self righteous avenue"... Here you can stay all night in merry delusion that the way you treat others is not to be judge... For you are the Bible of script writing and your sins shall be forgiven and never spoken of as long as you write some Liberal story line...
