A very important documentary showing the consequences of war
mail-mads13 January 2013
This is a very strong documentary and a should be a part the American history teaching. I shows once again the scars from when the time when the "new-americans" was claiming the land from the native indians but also the beauty in reconciliation between the sons of these war veterans.

To the Vietnam war... It shows the very long term consequences that war always will have. A war is not ended when it is won or the forces has been pulled back out... But also the lies that the US government tries to keep undercover from Laos thought they a not really discussed to full.

I just watch this on Danish broadcast and can only hope this has been aired much more in the US since this is a relevant 1½ hour documentary for TV. US is a war frenzy country but should as all of us learn from our mistakes and tries to resolve our differences better not to leave as many scared people.
