"I put her in danger and now she's in intensive care being looked after by strangers"

So, Declan and Bridget are parents.Still doesn't make them right for each other or right as parents. There's an attempt at a father/son chat between Paul and Declan but they've portrayed Paul as the anti-Christ far too often for us to view him sympathetically.Hard to tell whether Bridget sneaking off to see her baby is a sign of her being a committed mother or a sign of her being a petulant teenager who wants her own way.Jodie turning a blind eye is a bit unprofessional. And then Rebecca decides to propose to Paul in the middle of celebrating her granddaughter's birth. That's real smooth.

The subplot with Zeke and Sunny is better;after a shaky few episodes, they're back to being a good couple again.Karl and Susan initially come across as dictatorial, especially him, but ultimately prove ready to negotiate and compromise and come over well.Zeke moving in with Steph is a great idea and if handled well could result in some interesting new roles for both of them.
