"Safe travelling, Didge"

It's now been a week since Bridget died and every single episode since then has been about the characters' reactions to her death. It's not unreasonable to assume that her friends would still be in mourning after a week but giving us nothing else of interest makes it all seem very samey:There's only so many seems of Declan displaying impotent fury or the rest of the teen group sitting around looking sad and arguing about the best way to handle things you can deal with.Or are we expected to still be in mourning as well?

This episode has more of the same and the good moments are few and far between, Zeke standing up to Declan in his usual passive aggressive way being possibly the best. While Sunny's tribute is sweet if a bit incomprehensible, it's a shame that the show seems to be saying that actually Donna not crying yet was a bad thing after all and now that she's done so everything will be all right.

Sort of connected with Bridget's death but slightly removed from it is the not-really-developing story of the accident that caused her death. With Lucas feeling the pinch, Elle ends up taking some questionable actions to protect her boyfriend. And bumps into some celebrity cameo looking for Lassiter's, which for some reason she doesn't feel like pointing out even though she's stood right next to it.
