"I don't know what's got into him"

Warning: Spoilers
The explanation for VJ's behaviour comes surprisingly early and leads to some nice scenes.Miles and Leah handle the situation as well as they can but their actions, especially Miles', are woefully misguided. Romeo wanders through the episode looking for a personality again. It's currently an even bet as to whether Riley or his father will turn out to be the bigger villain, the cliffhanger is a genuine shock and makes it look as though Riley is more out of control than he seemed.

Tony and Rachel's storyline is moderately interesting although it does look as though they're desperate to give them something to do.Tony shielding Rachel from their financial difficulties because of everything they've gone through lately is a nice character moment but there's a worrying feeling that it's largely a plot device to get Rachel back to the hospital.

Ruby is fast becoming the most irritating character on the show and you suspect the writers don't even realise it.Her attitude towards Charlie is completely out of line and her complaint that Charlie's rude is one of many pot, kettle, black moments surrounding her lately. Charlie breaking up her and Geoff's love nest is the best thing she could have done.
