"Here's to taking things one step at a time"

Robertson continues to wander through the episode leaving neither the characters nor the viewer entirely certain what to make of him, talking contradictory nonsense but, as Morag realises, being cannier than he might appear at first. And giving a third explanation for why he's got such a dumb name. His chat with Ross is enlightening, his parable to Leah...barely relevant. And he seems to be asking the sort of questions about Angelo that up until now we've been told we're not supposed to ask.

Liam gets a full return after his cameo last week. There's the beginnings of a friendship between him and fellow new boy Romeo and the beginnings of a feud between him and some of the other characters, with Alf coming across as typically narrow-minded and Aden as typically snide. The idea of him being a famous rock star is probably going to be difficult to maintain, however.

There's a few other plot elements bleeding their way in.Brendan's reaction to John is one of the best bits of the episode and Tony and Rachel get a couple of nice scenes which hopefully suggest they're over their problems.
