A Game People Have Wished For

Have you wished for a new open world platform licensed game? Then this is quite it. SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is a pretty good return of a type of game we have rarely seen in recent years. Well, it can have a few things that didn't go exactly how we expect like a predictable villain and gameplay that can at best be basic. I mean, we don't really get a lot of new gameplay elements for a game like this. However, there are things the game can make up thanks to a good story, some side missions with fun scavenger hunts, neat graphics that gives detail to an open world game, and strong charm that gives enjoyable references to the show. Of course is safe to say that the SpongeBob SquarePants fans will have a good time with this. But also, those that even miss the time where open world license games used to be a thing at the time. I'm not saying that games have to go back to mediocrity like how some licensed games go, but this feels under appreciated these days when it comes to gaming. I wouldn't consider in standards of something awesome in The SpongeBob movie game or Battle For Bikini Bottom, but it's rather nice to see a game people may have wished for.

I was really giving up on nickelodeon themed games because like we had some lack luster games made by nickelodeon like: Nickelodeon all-star brawl, Nickelodeon kart racers 3: slime speedway and Garfield lasagna party.. But this game has made me come back to the genre of nickelodeon gaming because the ost, the graphics, the visuals and the level design is actually real quite nice. The only thing that felt out of place was how spongebob was sounding deeper than his cartoon self but I say you could give this game a go but make sure to get it on pc, ps and xbox because the switch version is a bit wonky but not as wonky as pokemon sv before the update.. but no this game is not good as bfbb (original version) because bfbb is still a nostalgia trip to heaven.

Finally a SpongeBob game that is just as good as battle for bikini bottom

So in this game you travel through different worlds to save spongebob's friends from the cosmetic shake that has happened to the folks in bikini bottom.. as you travel along the game you will see a lot of really cool references to other episodes of the show from seasons 1-4 which is a really nice touch though the krusty krab pizza gliding ability needs to be reworked a bit instead of it just being a cardboard box.. also the graphics look really nice the storyline is also fun and original and patrick star is now a balloon what what happened to him and finally we get a glimpse of spongebob fighting squidward. And yes I do recommend playing this game it is way better than nick all star brawl and nick kart racers 3.
