Miles' injuries are slightly more serious than expected but he's still back on his feet by the end of the episode.How long he's going to stay that way depends on his next move.His refusal to believe that a group of primary school children put him in hospital leads him to make some very bad decisions that could land him in trouble.The relationship between him and Nicole is nicely handled.Romeo playing big brother to VJ is a nice idea but underlines the fact that they really don't seem to have got much of a handle on the character, he seems far too old here given that he's supposedly still a teenager.
Aden and Nicole get some nice material together here and belatedly clear the air over their recent experiences, as they discuss their recent problems and the fact they couldn't be there for each other.A bit more discontinuity about how old Gonk is.Nicole and Liam's relationship does seem to be on the verge of disintegrating, Nicole hardly considers him the love of her life but it isn't entirely clear how serious he is about her:He certainly considers their relationship exclusive enough to turn down Poppie.
