Ian and Emma return from their holiday after arguing on the plane about a jacket potato.
First episode done, and I'll be honest, I'm not one hundred percent sure what I thought about it, I didn't dislike it, the acting was too good for that, but I definitely wasn't gripped.
I like the way that it's trying to depict real life, TV dramas so often show events that will be er happen in a million years, I get that impression they the writer wanted to show a perfectly plausible, real life scenario.
The trouble was, it was so realistic, so normal, that at times it felt a little too slow. I'm not sure why, but I was reminded a little of Roger and Val have just got in from a few years back.
The chemistry between Bean and Walker was phenomenal, an acting masterclass from the pair, you will not see better.
Beautifully acted, but I'm a bit mixed, 6/10.
