It was fine but I would have loved more of the hotel but I liked it it went by really fast but anywas great episode seven out of ten I'd give it. I mean the worst episode yet was definitely rock hard.

Pretty entertaining

As always, Peter is just so ridiculous with everything he does, and it's quite entertaining. I like how the main plot where Peter turns Carter's mansion into a hotel focused on secondary and tertiary characters like Doctor Hartman, Principal Shepherd, and the librarian. The Lois and Carter subplot was an interesting glimpse into their relationship and their past. Some of the cutaways were funny, but the Kevin Spacey one was...bold. Wow.

A Freaking sweet episode.

Such a freaking hilarious episode. Lois's plot with her dad was very touching and the subplot with Peter and the kids with the hotel was also entertaining. 9.9/10. This season is becoming one of my favorite in recent years. The characters are slowly getting back their character arcs in old and new ways of story development.

Warning: Spoilers
There were some funny Stewie and Chris moments here, but the storylines continue to be a reach here.

So many ideas out there and this is what they come up.

Best episode of the season so far

Warning: Spoilers
This episode actually had a decent storyline for Lois and Carter with a somewhat emotional story for them and the B plot of the rest of the family running the hotel, while it wasn't perfect was still pretty fun to watch. Definitely not the best episode of family guy but since season 20 is doing poorly in terms of quality at the moment, this was a breath of fresh air.

This season is so trash.

As a family guy fan this season is sooo sober and idiotic. Stupid and old jokes. It tries too hard. And it is just so lameeee. I expect a really good season at least with one good episode but no you are no going to see one.

Just don't waste your time people.

Hated it.

This episode (and particularly the scenes where Lois and Carter spend time together) was just extremely hard to watch. By the way, No Giggity No Doubt is one of my least favourite episodes of Family Guy for essentially the same reason, and it sucks that they made a similar type of episode AGAIN.

To be honest, this type of bonding between (you know what) is best left with The Simpsons (for example the episode Lisa the Greek) and Bob's Burgers (for example the episode Hawk & Chick). This is the sort of thing that ABSOLUTELY DOES ***NOT*** suit Family Guy, and for good reason!

By the way, Seth MacFarlane's other show, American Dad, isn't any better in this particular regard either, with the episode Pulling Double Booty being absolutely disgusting! The abstinence group from the episode My Purity Ball and Chain is even worse!

Maybe Family Guy should have waited till 2022 to release this episode, because 2021 does not seem like the right year for something like this. A huge smack in the face for this episode to have been released this year in my opinion.

Things I dislike about Family Guy
michellez-8234425 November 2021
I gave it three out of ten because of past good episodes, granted they seem to be coming less and less.

This episode had some of the things I dislike most about this series: Lois bitching about being let down by others while reminding us she was raised in a privileged background and all the while she's the WORST mother on cartoon T. V.

Oh, dear, you lost your nanny? The tragedy. Plenty of people had far worse parents and she s**** on her Father with predictable regularity. What about the Mother? Does she get a pass? Seems like while Dad was absent much of the time as a parent, the Mother was nonexistent. Regardless, not interested in Lois' nasally whining about how her upper-class childhood was tainted by minor inconveniences.

The hotel story, while full of potential, had three of the most annoying and one-note characters this show has to offer: the principal of the local school, whose only apparent feature is a voice which is best in small doses, an incompetent doctor, that's it, that's his entire thing, voiced by the exact same voice actor and pretty much the same voice as Daddy Pewterschmidt, and the lonely librarian who laughs at her own terrible puns and wordplay. God.

The Lois-Carter Story was tedious. I tapped that little 10 seconds forward button more times than you'd think a "comedy" would warrant but Lois' constant high expectations of others, yet low conduct to her own children, I just don't give a cr*p that she was let down as a kid. Mummy and Daddy didn't tell her to her face she's not worthy of their love as Lois seems to do every episode to one or other of the family. The Hotel Story could have been much better, although I feel like it's been done to death, commandeering someone else's home for some "hilarious" purpose but the three "stars" just suck the oxygen out of the story. Dr. Hartman less so but still, those three characters can never be in another episode and it wouldn't bother me.

A bad episode in a sadly declining series. It's no longer "must-watch" and beginning to look like The Simpsons in that respect. At least with The Simpsons, that Halloween Episode is USUALLY good.
