So boring!!

Where to begin? This tale is very stale. It starts with a young man sleeping in the park, yes I said sleeping in the park! Who does that these days? He sees a fairly attractive young lady after being awakened. He follows her and then she sort of disappears. The shots in the park are hard to see and shot in a weird haphazard way, so you don't know if she just slipped him or was a kind of ghost or something. Very confusing. Then we see him in his unkempt apartment sleeping again. The door bell rings but no one is there as he looks out the peephole. The funny thing with this whole thing is that sometimes we hear the snow from the TV and sometimes we don't. Otherwise there is just silence in the apartment. This is really an amateur mistake. Then the same female, I think, enters his apartment and they kind of begin to get it on. Then he wakes up and it's a dream. Before the conclusion, however, we get self-pity shots of his miserable existence in his bachelor pad apartment. Things like piles of clothes, the snow on the TV, his dirty t-shirt, old food cartons, you get the picture!!

It's like a 10 year old who just had his first wet dream made a movie. I hope Orchard can do some better work in the future, but I wouldn't wait around for him to do the next Pulp Fiction. Probably the least developed short film I've ever seen, and that is saying something!, especially for a format that has its share of underdeveloped story lines.
