A fascinating series looking at Britain's favourite snacks and treats, from burgers to sandwiches, chocolate to crisps.
It's both nostalgic and revealing, you'll hear from those that created, marketed and sold the products. The competition ranges from friendly, to salty, to out and out nasty.
Crisps was perhaps the most interesting episode so far, arguably the most revealing, with those in charge of the companies openly vying for market share, and the destruction of their competitors, the rivalries elsewhere weren't perhaps so cut throat.
Dawn French provides the narration for series one, she's replaced by Jo Brand for series two, both are fantastic.
I loved seeing the old adverts and news articles, it's amazing to see how things have changed with time, the way companies marketed to children, shocking.
Which of them are at fault for today's obesity crisis? Do they all have a part to play? I have my own opinion.
I hope we get more, I'd love to see pizzas, soft drinks and breads.
Very watchable series, 8/10.
