Declan and Kate get to prove their couple stripes with a deliriously silly and wonderfully cute attempt to celebrate her birthday in style. 1990s style, that is.Declan dressed as a cowboy and Kate dressed as a flying ballerina is seriously trippy and wonderfully sweet. And Donna and Rebecca's well-meaning interference is thankfully kept to a minimum.
Lucas' plot line is a nice idea but a bit overplayed.Libby's attempts to help him, while a bit abrupt, see her becoming likable for the first time in a while.Toadie, while doing a bit of string-pulling from behind the scenes, once more comes across as more determined to keep Steph's secret than Steph herself, literally dragging her out of the Kennedy house and snapping at Libby, although he is the one who comes up with the idea of using Ben to get to Lucas.Which ultimately doesn't happen, resulting in another fairly pedestrian cliffhanger.
