[8.2] "Therapize" me with Roberta Sand
cjonesas19 February 2022
Episode 6: A very good episode with believable acting, superior storyline plots, suspenseful atmosphere and as always, a great performance from James Spader.

It's a little convoluted, mysterious and muddy, yet captivating enough to watch it with all your eyes and listen to it with all your ears.

Loved the therapist. Great acting.

Boring
blkhwk4110 December 2021
This show has become boring, no longer about international 'problems' but centers primarily upon some of the protagonists.. It USED to be fun to watch, now just the same boring episodes, thankfully they got rid of Liz-but they still need to rid us of the other two Lizittes and return to the original themes.

And Dembe-from criminal bodyguard to Feeb in one episode, totally ridiculous

Come on guys either fix it or let it die.

It's All in Your Mind
Hitchcoc13 December 2022
Harold Cooper has a tiger by the tail. A crime family has gone from being a bunch of ignorant sludges to being formidable. The reason? A psychiatrist named Roberta Sand has a masterful touch, getting people to accomplish things they didn't think they could. The problem is that her clients are these gangsters (played in the most stereotypical manner). While this investigation is going on, Cooper is about to be blackmailed. A letter given to Elizabeth by Red has broad implications. Red is thinking that Liz's vacillation is what got her killed and he is responsible for that. There are some interesting developments now. The story is getting more human all the time.

Did anyone recognise the VEEP
Lord-Palmerstone10 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I will start with the main point and that is a leftie activist politician thereby messing up business and therefore capitalism and shot dead on the podium whilst standing adjacent to her apparently outspoken boss.

Did anyone see the similarity with a certain absolutely useless, also with a history of meddling in the past, VEEP - The photo was uncannily similar.

As for the episode, the storyline, as usual, full of twists and turns and now we have the very real possibility that Dembe has betrayed Red. Impossible as it may seem, as he has been for 8 full seasons implacably resolute and faithful -- I somehow cannot believe this.

What an Episode!!! No one ever though this was coming!! DAMN!!!
tanzimkh10 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Before going to the review, I would like to say that, I, personally missed Donald Ressler. I really missed him and hope to see him in next episodes.

Now, into the real part. Did she really said the finger print matched with Elizabeth's finger print? Umm, did she again faked her own death!!!??? OMG. This last few minutes just made me so excited, it so made me want to believe, if there is a small window to see Elizabeth Keen is still alive. Damn!! That excitement is what I come back to this series, AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!!

Now about the Blacklister. Who had though a therapist can be used for that purpose. This series has shown us how incredible crime world can be and how creative criminals are to sustain in this lawful world; and the series lived up to that height once again. LOVED THE EPISODE!!! In the coming three months, something big is sure to come since Dr Sand is now Red's newest associate. I can not imagine the endless possibilities to this kind of association.

Now about the issue with Harold Cooper, umm, is it Panabaker manipulating Cooper to get rid of the taskforce or is it his wife?? The phone called just twisted everything. Someone with that level access to surveillance camera and audio, someone with high level government access, who knows!!!!

Just loved every moment of this show. I am going to say it again, the old BLACKLIST is back with all its glory. Hope to see some more actions. And thank you so much for the wonderful episode.

WOW, where is that Emmy for James Spader?
frank-liesenborgs14 December 2021
Finally season 9 is getting better. Part of the storyline is a bit unrealistic as the shrink preps the assassin and you can see that the assassin leaves and kills a high profile person without gloves An assassin without gloves? I am missing Ressler in this episode as I feel he could have added to the story. The same applies to Aram. He needs more screen time. I am starting to like the acting of Diany Rodriguez (Weecha) more and more. Finally the story improves, excitement levels are increasing again and super acting from James Spader, what a performance. If he does not get an Emmy, I don´t know what you have to do to get one.

Therapist Uses Her Specialist Resources for Organized Crime
shelbythuylinh10 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
As that she is trying to get on those in the wanting to do crimes. And in the knowing that she can use her gentle or so called and warm hearted to manipulate anybody with three men in the episode to do the dirty work there.

The team must find her and that it feels she not just has professional but personal gains for it.

Meanwhile as Red gets to know her own grandfather that she names Red "Pinky" as that it shows one of the very few times Red has shown a soft spot there.

Harold is blackmailed as that DNA says he may be linked to a murder there. As he was blacked out in a car a few while back. But now it is time for him to get the focus after being a background character for most of the nine seasons. Interesting there.

Sadly Ressler was not in this episode at all.

Great story release about Red and Dembe's fallout
claudiavanherp10 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Firstly, I'm still here for Spader, and Aram (give the man a storyline for gods sake!) No Ressler is a bonus, the man bores me to tears.

The Blacklister story was okay, but the best is always Redding and his story, and today we got a glimps into the fallout between him and Dembe.

At the end of season 8 Red asked him to give the letter to Liz after his death, guess what he did?

Watch and find out, and Red being on an Island with Dr Sands will be interesting.

There is hope for the rest of the Season as now we have a story about working through his demons with therapy.

This is the best show on TV
dolphinfandan10 December 2021
I love this show and the acting of James Spader is wonderful. Please give him a golden globe for the Blacklist. When Dexter is done I would love to see Miicheal C. Hall as one of the Blacklisters. Speaker is the best actor who ever lived and M. C. H. Is number 2.

good episode
pablorubio-3295118 December 2021
There is a little bit of mistery mounting up around lizzy's death, and there is, finally !, some tension among Dembe and Red

well done, this series must turn around its strong characters

the blacklister was quite complex and interesting for the first time this season.

Hypnotized
ZegMaarJus10 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Roberta, she has a session with Randall. Randall killed Mary Parrot with a sniper. Red and Agnes play a game of Memory together. Dembe arrested Randall. Roberta got arrested. Red 'kidnapped' Roberta. Cooper got blackmailed by a anonymous person, about Doug Koster his death. Nice Episode of The Blacklist Season 9, such a great follow up. Looking forward to the rest of the season!
