So, the end of Aden and Nicole and the end of Aden. It's doubtful that either fans of the couple or fans of the character will be happy, since despite all the claims in publicity it's far from being a positive ending.Aden throws away the one good thing in his life and goes off to stare at another four walls.Nicole makes an act of self-sacrifice that comes across as somewhat unnecessary but is probably going to be the best thing for her in the long run.Justin uses every opportunity to stick the boot in and doesn't notice that he's just wrecked his brother's life.
Elsewhere, Martha and Xavier make a couple of very questionable decisions regarding Hugo's survival. You have to question the wisdom of talking about it with so many people(a)in such a public place and(b)at all.Gina's reaction is hardly surprising, she didn't care Hugo was dead, she's hardly going to care that he's alive, and only Tony and Ruby seem to be showing any sense. The ending had better have a decent explanation to it, unless we're supposed to believe it was just a massive coincidence.
