It's really hard to know what we're meant to make of this episode. There's a comedy brawl between Tony and John, which is something they probably needed to get out of their system although it makes the boxing match storyline we had to sit through a few weeks back even more ridiculous. It's preceded by both Tony and Romeo indulging in some childish sniping towards John and Jill, with both of them seeming to think they can dictate who's friends with who in Summer Bay...although by the end of the episode, the pair seem to have overstepped the friendship mark even more.In fact, Romeo's the one who comes off worst in this episode, a selfish brat who's determined to think the worst of everyone, even though the rest of the characters don't seem to notice this.
Elsewhere, Elijah's overbearing mother continues to wreck havoc.Again it feels like the show doesn't realise what message it's sending out, as apparently Elijah being just as overbearing towards Leah is the way to get rid of her.Or possibly not, since she ends up barging back into their lives anyway.
