A rather frustrating episode although it has its good moments:Indigo and Sid's awkward chat about being a virgin, John taking the mickey out of the "Bay of Love" tag line, Angelo trying to use the paper for free advertising.But it has far too much Penn, as he inexplicably gets hailed as a hero by people who hated him the previous week and drips poison everywhere.And the continuity error where John seems to forget a conversation he's just had doesn't help.
There's also an incredibly annoying and borderline incomprehensible scene of Miles, Marilyn and Sid ambushing Romeo for no apparent reason and Sid shouting at him not to sleep with his daughter.Why any of them would actually do that isn't explained.
Liam belatedly tells Charlie about Ruby's drinking, causing her to storm around town shouting at everyone.Meanwhile, Ruby decides to ask Indigo, a character she's barely spoken to if at all, to buy some wine for her.Which Indi naturally does just as Charlie comes round the corner.Again, it's marred by a lack of explanations and motivation.
