Xavier is left facing a dilemma after Charlie's continuity nightmare of a request last episode. In fact the continuity nightmare continues as Xavier apparently doesn't know Angelo let Martha and Hugo go even though it's a matter of public record. He gets some of the best scenes he's had with Romeo in a while and some nice interaction with April. And he and John do finally seem to have learned to talk to each other like human beings.
Elsewhere, Leah and Miles get some great interaction with his calming techniques and the scene of Leah jumping up and down excitedly as Miles phones Elijah.Irene's off days continue as she proceeds to give Leah some bad advice, although at least she eventually has the sense to listen to what Leah actually wants.
Bianca's back in aloof mode and Liam's back throwing tantrums as the episode begins.Although Ruby's presence in the episode feels a bit pointless and just seems to be there to remind us she exists, forcing Liam to deal with her again does make him more sympathetic. And he gets a scene with Romeo as well.
