John continues to go to bat for Xavier and April's proposal.They seem oddly surprised about the fact he isn't 100% committed to the idea, given that they manipulated him into it, but his about face in a private moment sees his popularity nosedive even further.The councillor playing him at his own game and diverting funds away from the project that will affect his business is a nicely judged twist that sadly sees John revert to type.
Romeo loses his voice in a rather fun comedy storyline.Not least because it means he doesn't speak for much of the episode and Luke Mitchell gets to show off his comic talents.Sid's awkward chat to Indigo about sex is another good scene, as is his trying to get them to stop kissing.Nicole is used well too, acting as a sounding board for them both.Romeo's offer at the end sees another curious about face about who his character's supposed to be.
Elsewhere, Leah has at least stopped moping about Elijah, even if it is only because she's started jumping up and down about the prospect of seeing him again.More confusing conversations between her and Miles are well worth watching.
