A total mess that really doesn't bode well for the much-publicised 6000th episode.The best thing in it is the Summer/Chris plot line and even that isn't very good.Summer gets more irritating by the episode and really needs to pull her head in.Chris' parents are glorified extras.The token gay guy that Summer gets to talk to him is hopeless. Lyn is actually pretty good here, managing to sort Chris' problems while Summer grinds her teeth and shouts a lot.Natasha trying to get herself a gay best friend is probably the best part of the episode.
Elsewhere...Paul.Which about sums it up.Five years of watching the man acts in a truly loathsome manner and no end in sight.You have to feel for Diana whose allies always turn out to be idiots.Not only is Declan convinced he can make his mother happy by bankrupting her husband, he inexplicably decides to give up on that plan to act like a pathetic whelp and beg Kate to take him back, apparently not having noticed what a cold bitch she's suddenly turned into.With characterisation, motivation and plotting this bad, avoid like the plague.
