"I can't bear the idea that I'm pleading not guilty, I am guilty!"
skteosk29 November 2010
Warning: Spoilers
It has almost reached the point where Steph is the show's chief villain and the writers haven't noticed. Here, any sense of moral certainty is slowly chipped away from her and she's convinced to try and avoid the fact that she's killed someone.Once upon a time in this show, she'd have an attack of conscience and face up to what she's done. These days, there's at least an even chance that she'll get away with it.And it's a shame that Sonya, who up until recently seemed to be the sanest person around, is suddenly playing the role of the devil on her shoulder.

The other storyline is a nice idea badly handled.First we have the rather forced sniping between Zeke and Declan, which mainly consists of Zeke being his usual aggressive self when Declan isn't really doing anything to provoke him.And then claiming he cheated on Kate when he did nothing of the sort. The end result is even more contrived. How could Declan not know that he needed to fill the petrol tank? How did Donna not notice that the gauge read nearly empty?A halfway competent writer would have come up with something better.
