A bit random really, feeling like scenes have been removed at random. Will and Lily appear and disappear all over the place, Ruby gets one brief scene where she's cross at Charlie and another brief scene where she isn't, Nicole gets two brief scenes where she doesn't do anything and one brief scene where she's looking glum for reasons that aren't explained...It all feels a bit shallow and pointless, trying to do too much and not really doing anything.
Plus points:Lily and VJ get a nice scene together, Leah and VJ finally have a chat about Elijah, Charlie and Ruby's make up scene is actually okay if viewed in isolation...That's possibly about it.The stuff that has meat to it is possibly the worst part of the episode:Marilyn comes up with a bonkers idea, Sid says the right thing in the wrong way then changes his mind and goes along with it.
Meanwhile, Roo and Gina continue to go round and round in circles with regards using money taken from vulnerable people to help criminals and end up back where they started.Astonishingly, this mess has been going on nearly two years and we're still not rid of it.When and how people are in danger seems to change on an episodely basis and here we're meant to forget that Gina's arguably placing her other two sons in danger by getting mixed up in Hugo's world again.
