Dull, pointless and incredibly irritating.Little more than a delaying episode between the verdict in the last episode and the sentencing in the next one, which can't even be bothered to include a subplot to break the tedium. The storyline's been running nearly all year and they're still dragging it out.Donna yells at Libby and inevitably feels bad about it and thinks she was harsh. Then she yells at Sam and everyone pats her on the back and cheers that another person who doesn't live in Ramsay Street has been exposed as evil.Sigh.
There's a chance for character moments. These mainly amount to Sam trying her utmost to convince us she's the villain by sneering at everyone for the sheer hell of it, Zeke getting angry with everyone, Lyn being annoying, Toadie being very annoying and Lou wondering why he bothered coming back.Steph tries her best to convince us she's a pure and virtuous saint by hugging Charlie a lot, when she's not busy contemplating taking up Lucas' offer to become Bonnie and Clyde. Then she tells Lucas she loves him, presumably so he can have his heart ripped out of his chest again. And Kate cheerfully delivers the moral of the tale:If one of your friend commits a crime, you should lie and cover it up.Words fail me.
