Marilyn continues to be pretty selfish under the whole "a mother who will love and cherish it" behaviour and Sid is once more way too nice for his own good and lets her walk all over him.It's pretty clear that she hasn't considered anyone except herself in this and it's a shame Nicole seems to have fallen for it so much.
Meanwhile, Ruby and Romeo demonstrate what a good couple they'd make, as they team up to throw a spanner in Xavier's relationship with April, albeit inadvertently.Just because Ruby'll pash anyone and Romeo's girlfriends run away screaming, doesn't mean this is the right thing here.Although Xavier does kiss Summer so he's only got himself to blame. April makes a very quick return to the show after her abrupt exit at the end of the previous year and hopefully her first sight won't put her off.
The highlight of the episode is Dexter's sudden older brother relationship with VJ which will hopefully continue to appear in later episodes.The sequence with the bully is massively illogical but it's also very funny so I'll let it pass.
