Well, we get some sort of explanation as to why Donna doesn't want to go to New York. And there's some nice continuity with the brief return of Lindsey. But it all feels a bit pointless, like someone wasn't entirely sure what to do with Donna for her last few episodes so foisted this storyline on her.And there does reach a point where her friends' interference starts to get a bit wearing.Toadie's "fashion disaster" being his own clothes is a good gag though.
The other plot line is equally bizarre as Billy the Nice Mate From Physio suddenly becomes Billy the Dodgy Mate From Physio. It's almost definite that Lucas has got himself involved in something he's better off leaving alone here and it's no doubt going to cause him trouble. The way he's suddenly throwing money about the next day is a bit strange as well.
