While Paul remains an uninteresting, one-note character, he does provide an interesting catalyst for other characters to show depths they wish weren't there.Rebecca's "affair" with Michael is ridiculously tame(they barely even kiss!)but her sudden brainwave with regards how to rid herself of Paul may lead her to some very dark places.Lyn's brief showdown with Paul over exactly how much he's hurt Lyn is nicely played.
The other plot line of Kate and the others working to persuade Donna to go to New York is...variable.The idea that a group of people prancing up and down wearing dresses she designed would have any effect on her is rather strange but typical Neighbours fare and so acceptable for it. Sophie has another cute moment with Zeke, even though new viewers would be forgiven for thinking he and Kate were a couple, given how much hand-holding goes on here.
