Mrs Brown I salute you!! Finally a laugh out very loud comedy
Sleepin_Dragon13 August 2015
I've enjoyed going back to the start of this show, and here is where it all started. The very first BBC episode of Mrs Brown's Boys was hilarious, we find out the basic premise of the show, we get several interactions between Agnes and the live audience, it is so different and so refreshing. It was on very late on BBC1 and I ended up watching it by accident, but a little later everyone I knew was talking about it and started watching it. I think we all realised it was going to become even bigger. The first episode boasts some hilarious moments, Granddad and the thermometer, the taser, but the standout bit is Cathy's counseling session, the badges, the arguing, but the Penguin head still has me screaming laughing. A brilliant series opener 10/10

Brilliant start to brilliant series!

Warning: Spoilers
Without embellishments, we are introduced to Agnes Brown, Irishwoman, widow, and mammy extraordinaire, as she meddles in her adult children's' love lives, verbalizes hilarious death wishes aimed at her aging father in law, and tells the dirtiest stories you've ever heard!

There was one scene that was so good it gives the whole Pilot a 10 star rating, the "name badges/counseling" scene! Brendan O'Carroll's genius timing and dialog, especially the part about landing airplanes, had me laughing really hard. I don't want to be crude, but if I keep watching this show (and believe me, I will!) I'll make the makers of Poise Incontinence products very rich! This show, if you have my sense of humor, is pee in your pants funny!
